View Full Version : South West Motor Show Convoys
Would the area organisers mind sorting out the convoys from their areas?
this would mean that these people would be in charge of the convoys unless otherwise a second person is designated. You would need to keep in mind that the show stand is required to be in display ready mode by 9am at the very latest. This could take some time so could i please advise that all members are at the showground by around 8am as last year it did take us some time to get into the ground and set up.
These are the area organisers:-
Plymouth:- Louise rat/dspeed
North Devon:- Derek
Exeter:- Scoobtastic
Cornwall:-
Wiltshire:- S.P/Edmondo
Bristol:- ( Would bob and dragon take this role on?)
have i missed any areas etc

I'm gutted as this is the second or third or even more meets that I have missed because of things coming up without me even thinking if I've plans or not :frown:

just to let you know, if you didnt go last year, and if we end up going in the entrence just of the roundabout by the sainsbury garage, there was a terrible pot hole as you went in which any cars with mud flaps, splitters etc might get damaged so it was a case of of moving slightly to the left after about 100 yrds after you come through the gate.

Rather than drive up on Sunday we are staying in Okehampton Saturday night,Then we won't have that far to travel in the morning.
What time is everyone expecting to arrive at the showground? as we would like to get there at the same time.

I have put the times up on the convoy 1st page.. Can exeter go the same and others can go on these times for there arival in Exeter.

I have been updating the first page for the last few days...See we have more at Bristol than the last page...I do not want to go through the whole thread updating all the Pages... Is it not best to keep the first post or two on the first page for the meet details and convoy and just update that.
it would be but not all members read the 1st post first it depends if they read it from the most recent post or the latest post 1st and some go straight to the last post.
So we should update the half dozen posts on who's going...:eek: :eek: :eek:
