What he's done to the car this year is just incredible. To cope with the lack of an intercooler he's running methonal, which needs double the quantity than petrol requiring 650cc injectors x4 plus another 4 1100cc controlled by two apexi FC's. That's just the begining. Have a look at this months Jap Perfomance mag.

noisy diffs.
when I had my Mk2 escort rally car, had to use ear defenders when driving as the gearbox whined like mad.

the article says it all. uses methanol as the fuel & that is what cools the incoming air.

i read that he only uses on the drag strip as he aint got an IC
