Please tell me if i am steppin on anyones toes (not you Ben i know they are sore already):hysterical: i have spoken to one of the judges who will be at this event and he has given me a a little info about this event.
As you can see its held at Mount Edgcumbe country park it has about 100 cars being shown, ranging from WWII vehicles to Amercan and British Classics, he said they didnt usually have International cars there but they have had a few that people wanted to show. It is £5 to show your car, im going to take mine down to show would be really nice if there were a few more Scoobs with me so i dont look too out of place on my lonesome. The only thing is people will have to move quickly and book there cars in as i believe it is well established showing area. Contact details are to book Tel 01752 822850. Maybe we could get a few of us together and put our pride and joys on show and get some good publicity for the club. I believe there are also prizes on offer for best car etc but not too sure.
hope i dont sound stupid but where is it? plymouth, cornwall, im not sure where mount Edgcumbe is!

Have found out a few more details about this event. This is most of the verbage from the entry form but hope it helps.
Fee is £5 per vehicle to be paid in advance and entry is by a windshield sticker, charge for spectators is also £5. There will be a large number of trophies to be won and a momento will be available for collection from the control tent on presentation of windscreen entrance ticket. The Earl of Mt Edgcumbe will open the event at 11am but entrants may arrive from 0730 to find their positions, it is recommended that entrants arrive as early as possible, judging will commence at 1pm. Telephone enquiries for car bookings should be done by contacting Mrs Tindsley on 01752 822850 but with this event being only a couple of weeks away i think people will have to move quickly.
Hopefully we may be able to have a good turnout with this especially from local members, after speaking with Sutts this afternoon at the carnival in Plympton he is coming along so already got 2 of us. On the entry form it asks do you wish to display with a vehicle class or club, if we put down Southwest Scoobies in that section we should all be together. This is a huge family event with food available and lots of entertainment and stalls to keep everyone happy.
