If you have read the thread on SIDC, they are offering a special insurance scheme for SIDC members through Keith Michaels insurance.

Quoted £700 fully comp for all extg mods & any future mods up to 450bhp, even if I go down the 2.5ltr.

Presently paying £861.00.

If you are an SIDC member, it is worth looking at.

I had been quoted in excess of £4k!

Jason was quoted the same deal by A plan. Acutally thinking about it I think he said it was £850 fully comp upto 450bhp for all mods. Both are certainly cheaper than Tesco's who are at £930 + 30% loading for the mods coming to £1120. Why they think we'd put soo0 many ££££, love and time into our wheels just to go and trash it I don't know.

Rang Keith Michaels Insurance. Quoted for TFT - £450 !!! Bargain.
Will be changing insurer shortly, or using to bargain with existing insurer.

Hmm, im a SIDC member now (Joined today)

I wonder if they can offer me a decent deal, i bet they just fob me off the second they ask my age though - just like everyone else.

I hate being young and having such a love for scoobies lol.

cheapest insurance is not always the best, many people fall victim to cheap quotes,im not saying yours is but i always look at the policy first, then the price...mine ranges from £450 to £850 fully comp protected,i opt for liverpool victoria at £650,a good company if you have to claim....just a thought.
