heya guys and girls..

I have just bought a boost guage mounted it on the dash and feed the tube into the engine bay but was wondering what tube i hook it up to off the turbo to get the right reading....

does anyone know?

The one i would normally go for would be the vac pipe onto your dumpvalve,
just cut it in half and fit a T piece.
never had any problems with that.

do you mean the long thin pipe from the top of my dump valve into the center of the engine?

cheers bud had it wired into a pipe around the turbo with a boost valve unit and the needle was goin a bit crazy.:smile:

yea link into the thin one to the dumpvalve from centre of manifold,

you shouldnt have a problem with that. :action-smiley-065:

hooked it into the dump valve pipe and its running a treat, the missiong was drillign and fitting it onto the dash but it all looks tidy :biggrin:

I fired it up it sits at -20psi and when full boost its at +10psi, is this okay?

It all depends how your engine is set up to what boost should be ok for it,

that sound ok tho.

what car is it on ?

obviously a scoob but what model / year / type

my gauge fitted straight onto the inlet manifold where it had a spare vacum thingy , , my00 uk turbo

10 psi , , , seems a bit low , but that is 0.7 bar innit ?
which older wrx's should run at ,
