Tried this site out, gives your download speed, upload speed etc, quite interesting checking at diff times of day my download speed can vary from 3.5mb up to over 9mb. (I'm on Telewest 10mb service btw)

I'm still waiting on my upgrade, but 2mb seems ok when surfing the net at times.. Only when it comes to pics and that, I just wish it was quickier... oh and downloading big files, 3Gb plus for example... :smile:

I'm changing my ISP after the new year so I'm going on an office based service, should be a lot different...

not bad result bob, seems mine was Flying it took about 20 attempts to get in, kept telling me my i.p did not match their records, then it was my username that was wrong.

thought mine seemed really high, and thought because i had a BT connection, using a Bt test, that maybee they were exagerating the figure, but you are with Bt, and your figure apears to be about average. in comparison to the other check you had done.
