How do you feel about sws helping to raise money for the scbu unit at gloucester hospital. (Special Care Baby Unit)
Fast Dave is an ambulance man and he is organising a load of cars to attend action day at castle coombe....i wondered how sws as a club would feel about raising some money to help them in this very worthwhile cause...
I work for the co-op and im sure i could get them to donate all the stuff we usually use to make bacon rolls, burgers and sausages etc and the usual tea and coffee. all money raised could be given to dave to put towards the money he is trying to raise....if people arent attending action day and would like to donate anyway im sure we could arrange to collect it ...........
i was also going to contact the guys in the motor section of the co-op and ask them to donate bits to raffle.......
what are your thought folks.....it is a very worthwhile cause....any other ideas would be gratefully recieved ...

i would definately want to be involved some how, its definately a worth while cause, as some of you are aware i have a three year old and one on the way, and raising money for any unit that involves a childrens unit is a massive worth while cause.
maybe i/we could do laps at castle combe if it was allowed maybe two laps at a time, and all proceeds would go to the unit, i would put my car forward to do laps, not sure were i would stand on insurance though, i will have to check my track insurance small print. but if its allowed i would do it.
no i am not nuts,

its just a worth while cause
brilliant idea mate .
i have two boys and denise has 4 children so its a well worthy cause.
i have close contact with a local paper so i will have a word and get a story and some pics in it

I will bring along some wine and chocs.......some for the raffle probably...:innocent0009:
Additionally - I would like to ask if the club is in a position to donate a year's advanced membership to the prizes? Especially as SIDC has donated too!
