Airconditioning

will be getting my car back this week from crashing it. just want to no if i can do away with the airconditioning rad as need to get new one but dont really use it. How would i go about doing it. thanks:scratchchin:

i got rid of my air con..... if you need to know how give me a shout....or....i have air con bits up for sale

the rad it self is out, just need to no if i need to do any thing else. like to block it off.

ok.......if you want top loose the air con .....

remove all the hoses attached to the rad(condensor).....

then unbolt the pipes from the bulk head in cluding the the condensor bottle.....unclip the wire attached and cable tie out the way...

remove the air con compressor and drive belt and tensioner....you will have to take the alternator belt off first as the pump belt is behind it.....

voila job done .....

by removing the compressor you may gain a couple of bhp if you are lucky.....
