Where can i get a 6 speed gearbox from? Im getting a nasty growling noise from mine especially when i slow down under engine braking. Its not loud but starting to disturb me.had it for about 2 weeks now. might just need topping up but looking into a 6 speed box anyway. Also what oil do i put in my box?

Try API iirc they supply all that you will need.

Want to upgrade but dont want something with a low ratio top gear. Any other suggestions? ive driven 6 speed cars and loved the extra gear. But i may be looking into re-con my one while im away. Not sure yet.

May need rear diff aswell to match ratios.

The 6 speed is a much stronger box than the 5 speed. Certainly a good idea if you're upping the power

Hoping the box will last til i go away so when i get back i'll be able to afford a 6 speed one. It probably aint that bad but it still wont take much more if i recon it.

Think u need to use Castrol Syntrax oil to top it up mate, i know u have to use this in your diff`s because organic fluids corrode the shims in there.
