Back up disk

When i do a back up disk for the computer, does it back everything up that is on your computer or just the standard thing that need to run it:scratchchin:

Depends on what program (if any) your using mate...

What are you trying to 'backup' as it where? Pics, vids, music etc?

Well i was wanting to keep backing up it once and a while just incase it cocks up again and i was just wondering when i back it up does it save everything:scratchchin:

All depends sadly on how you do it mate...

If your 'ghosting' a hard drive, then providing the hard drives are the same size then its a case of the program just copying everything as it is over to the other drive. Only thing you must watch out for is when the old drive gets used to backup with and not the new one :wink:

Or there's the easier way of just having another drive and copying everything onto it that way. Things that you want to keep, like pictures, videos, music or whatever else you want to keep. Its the easiest way and the quickest and cheapest too :smile:

Just try to buy (if you've not already) the biggest possible for the money. If you need to work out how cheap hard drives are (external or internal) just use this simple calculation:

How much it is / Size of hard drive (Gigabytes) = price per GB for example,

£40 / 200Gb = £0.20 per Gb :smile:
