just had my renewal through
£419 fully comp , same as last year, ALL mods declared :biggrin:
and i insure my BMW 728i with the same company for £191 TPFT
at them prices it's not worth me shopping around

I tried keith michaels, quoted me £750 F/C, then tried Tesco Value insurance and was quoted £450 F/C :biggrin:

I've just renewed with Admiral, mods declared - £780.
Tesco wanted an extra £500 to add mods!!!!!

Yes they will, you'd have to ring up and change your details. Thats what I did with the Tesco online quote, Phoned up to edit the quote

They can refuse to pay out on claim and void the policy so its best to be upfront!:wink: Thats the problem I have the backbox doesn't cause much of an issue, but the "gumball" graphics are not pleasing most as its asking for the car to be stolen apparently!!:rolleyes1:
And if I don't declare and a pic of my car ends up on an assessor desk waiting for a claim to be paid I've been told most assessors would not believe the car was standard mechanically, which would mean they would not pay out!!:mad: (My soon to be ex - husband is an insurance engineer!):wink:

Tesco value have come up with slightly cheaper quote, but no mods so backbox and graphics would have to come off, plus £600 excess!!!!:mad:

Kris is now looking for insurance for our classic as his policy runs out soon!!!
Got really good quote from Frizzell £323 with protected no claims and low excess!!! Happy to insure this as car is UK!!!
They won't touch my chav car cos of its cypriot heritage!!! lol
So if u have a UK car give them a go!! ; )

I've also had good news today, been a named driver for my whole driving career so no no claims of my own : (
but my ex's company have coughed 5 years today : )
thought I'd only be gettin 3 so really happy about that!!! : )

Trouble is I had to renew my insurance a month ago and did it on basis of 3 years!! Just done quick quote with same insurance company and should now be £180 cheaper...............not sure they will recalculate now tho!!! typical huh!!! : )
